We deserve some good news

PTL! The surgeon that put his drain in came to assess the abdomen situation. The drain bag had come loose early this morning and the nurse on duty out on a new one. I guess in doing so she taped around the drain hole itself. Most people would assume that stuff drains out of the hole itself but it actually drains out around it. So it was taped too tight.

He re-taped the bag so the bile can drain freely. What was causing the discoloration is the bile was building up a little and his skin is so think you could see it.

So, his bowel issue isn't flaring up again thank you Lord. They're just waiting it out but the drain is doing what it should be doing.

You have no idea the feeling of relief when things go positively our way.
